Healthy Lifestyle Support

As of 1st December, 2025 MoreLife has been delivering the Healthy You services. The service provision in Peterborough has also changed and Healthy You will now only be delivering the Community Intensive Weight Management Programme in Peterborough.

There have been changes to the provider of other health services in the area such as Smoking Cessation and Falls Prevention and we have included service information below.

Our Services

Weight Management

Our Community Intensive Weight Management Service supports you to achieve a healthier weight and improve your overall well-being. This includes everything in Place-Based Weight Management, plus:

Support from medical specialists (like doctors and dietitians)
Possible access to weight loss medication (if it’s safe and right for you)
Help with long-term health conditions (like diabetes or high blood pressure)

Changes to Services

Behaviour Change Service

Peterborough City Council no longer commission the majority of adult behaviour change services previously delivered by Healthy You. This change follows a public consultation and a Cabinet decision to reallocate funding to other public health priorities.

Although several services have now ended, a number of key offers remain available to support residents’ health and wellbeing.

NHS Health Checks

GP practices across Peterborough are still commissioned to deliver NHS Health Checks for eligible residents. For enquiries or to book an NHS Health Check please contact your GP Practice.
